The ninth Swim Cup Eindhoven is being organised by the PSV Swimming and the KNZB, Royal Dutch Swimming Federation and its Foundation for International Swimming Events “SIZE”.

The contest is included in the LEN calendar and is a Qualifying Tournament for the WC Barcelona, the European Junior Championships 2013 in Poland, and the IPC WC in Canada.

• All starts are in open categories men and women. 
  However because of the qualification for the EJC,dedicated youth finals on 50m 100m and 200m events will be applicable.
  (boys 1997 and 1998, girls 1995 and 1996)
• The meet will serve as a Qualifying Tournament for the IPC WC 2013. 
• Swimmers with disabilities will be seeded in the regular programmed numbers, based on their entry times. 
• The fastest 4 heats of each event will be swum at the start of the morning (heat) session. After completion of all fastest heats, other heats of each event will be conducted in usual order.
• Regarding 50 m events: 
• o Heats, Semi-Finals and Finals will be conducted at the same (one) day. 
• o In the morning session Heats will be performed. 
• o The afternoon session will start with the 50 m Semi-Finals. 
• o At the end of the afternoon session the 50 m Finals will be swum. 
• Regarding the 100 m freestyle events:
• o Heats and Semi-Finals will be conducted at the same (one) day. 
• o In the morning session Heats will be performed. 
• o During the afternoon session the applicable 100 m freestyle Semi-Finals will be swum.
• o Finals will be conducted in the afternoon session of the following day. 
• Regarding all other, non freestyle, 100 m events:
• o Heats and Finals will be conducted at the same (one) day.
• o In the morning session heats will be performed.
• o In the afternoon session the applicable A and B finals will be swum 
• Regarding 800 m freestyle MEN only one heat (max 10 athletes) will be conducted.
• Regarding 1500 m freestyle WOMEN only one heat (max 10 athletes) will be conducted.
• Regarding 800 m freestyle WOMEN. 
• o Heats are planned on Thursday April 4th. 
• o Finals are planned in the afternoon session of Friday April 5th.
• Regarding 1500 m freestyle MEN
• o Heats are planned on Friday April 5th. 
• o Finals are planned in the afternoon session of Saturday April 6th.
• The finals are short and spectacular.
• The prize money will be published on the website at a later time.
